HMC Professional Development Programme 2022-2023
We are pleased to share with you the HMC Professional Development Programme for 2022-2023.
We are hopeful that the forthcoming academic year will see a welcome return to more ‘normal’ Professional Development activity, where we can get together in person at courses and conferences and enjoy one another’s company as well as learn together. However, the Programme does now include many more online opportunities – a benefit of Covid we all now appreciate. Some timings have been designed to enable our international colleagues to access HMC PD provision more easily.
The HMC PD team have reviewed its venues with ease of travel for all delegates in mind.
The Programme we launch this June is the core of our provision and many more topical CPD courses will be added to the programme in the coming months. Registering for the HMC Professional Development Newsletter here, will ensure you don’t miss these.
Investing time to developing ourselves and our colleagues for the future is at the heart of everything we do in the school community and we do hope that you and your colleagues will participate in the many opportunities available in the HMC Professional Development Programme.
HMC PD courses for the 2022-23 academic year are now available to register via the Courses and Events menu.
You can register via the website or contact [email protected]

HMC’s Professional Development (PD) service provides unparalleled quality of training and professional development for teachers and leaders in our schools. Training and professional development are highly contextualised, catering specifically for the needs of leaders and staff in independent schools, and HMC schools in particular.
The service aims to encourage and support excellence in teaching, learning and school leadership through the 65 courses it provides each year. The HMCPD Programme of events is also open to members of other independent school associations beyond HMC.
